I purchased Asus Nexus 7 (2013) Android tablet few weeks ago, the tablet was shipped with Android latest Jelly Bean 4.3.1. Currently, it is one of the best Android tablet available in market and also a direct competitor to Apple’s iPad Air. No doubt, the tablet is super-fast and runs all games/apps smoothly out of the box. However, there is a big problem with the tablet’s display.

The colors are not appearing well as they should be, there is black’ish/dark tone on every colour and they don’t seem to look natural at all. It is very noticeable when you play games or watch videos. Before N7, I was using Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (P7500) as my primary Android device, the display was fantastic with super bright screen/colors.  So, I went around asking about this problem on a discussion forum and was told that its not a display issue rather different type of displays.

I am having a hard time getting myself used to the color temperature of Nexus 7 2nd Generation. I wonder if anyone else is having the same issue. If you are transitioning from Galaxy Tab to Nexus 7, I warn you! you won’t like the colors in this piece of device.  There is no option in the settings menu to change the color/contrast, and no app either.

I really hope there’s a fix for this color problem. Since, Android 4.4 KitKat update for Nexus 7 (2013) is expected to release in a few days.  Let’s see what happens.
